Mixing Elements

Mixing elements consist of elements arranged in a row, usually in the shape of a screw, a lamella or a grid. As the material flows through a static mixer, the mixing elements divide the material flow, twist the flows and bring them back together. This process enables efficient mixing of two-layer material mixtures. With each pass through an element, the number of layers doubles, starting with four after the first element and then eight, sixteen and so on. This leads to increasingly better mixing with each stage. Our mixing elements are therefore ideal for applications that require thorough and uniform mixing.
